Entering October, the temperature has dropped significantly in various places. In order to avoid unnecessary losses caused by low temperature affecting the normal use of the equipment, please follow the correct operating manual and perform professional antifreeze maintenance for your laser!
1. Laser use environment
Laser working environment temperature range: 10-40℃Laser storage environment humidity range: <90%Laser storage environment ambient temperature: -10~60℃
The impact of low temperature environment on lasers When the laser is operated or parked in an environment below 0℃, it is easy for the laser to fail to operate normally due to low temperature, or cause the water cooling pipeline to freeze. In severe cases, it will cause deformation or rupture of the internal pipeline of the water cooling system.
If the cold water pipeline is broken and then turned on, it may cause the coolant to overflow, resulting in damage to related core components. Therefore, the local environment is below 0℃. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, please add antifreeze to your laser in time or take other antifreeze measures.
2. Winter antifreeze guide
Install air conditioners or other heating equipment to keep the operating environment temperature of the laser above 0℃. Run the chiller 24 hours a day, and the water is not easy to freeze when it is flowing. When the laser is not used for a long time or when there is a power outage, be sure to drain the water in the chiller and store it in an environment above 0℃. When the temperature is below 0℃, add special antifreeze to the laser in time.
3. How to add antifreeze correctly
If the temperature is likely to be below 0℃, it is recommended to add antifreeze in advance to replace the coolant. It is recommended to use: Clariant laser equipment special antifreeze, the addition ratio is 3:7 (3 is antifreeze, 7 is water). After adding antifreeze, it can withstand minus 20 degrees without freezing.

Correct operation of adding antifreeze: empty the coolant inside the chiller. Clean the water tank, filter and filter element of the chiller. According to the ambient temperature, pour a certain amount of deionized water and a certain ratio of antifreeze into the same container and stir evenly in the same direction. Inject the evenly stirred antifreeze into the chiller, and stop adding liquid when the chiller liquid level is at the standard scale. Note: It is strictly forbidden to add antifreeze directly to the chiller (adding antifreeze directly to the chiller will cause the antifreeze to not fully dissolve in water, produce flocs, and block the filter and filter element). Any antifreeze cannot completely replace deionized water and cannot be used for a long time throughout the year. After winter, the pipeline must be cleaned with deionized water or purified water, and deionized water or purified water must be used as the coolant again. Due to the use environment and different configurations of the water chiller, the actual use may affect the flow rate and flow of the coolant, causing the alarm of the water chiller flow or the heat dissipation problem of the laser.
