As a die-hard fan of Schneider, our laser equipment has always insisted on using Schneider's electrical components to ensure the stability and durability of the equipment. Recently, the World Economic Forum announced a new list of "Lighthouse Factories", and two factories under Schneider were selected - the Monterrey No. 1 Factory in Mexico was named "Advanced Lighthouse Factory", and the Shanghai Putuo Factory (Shanghai Schneider Industrial Control Co., Ltd.) was awarded the title of "End-to-End Lighthouse Factory", which is a recognition and affirmation of Schneider's supply chain transformation advantages.
In 2018, the World Economic Forum and McKinsey jointly established the "Global Lighthouse Network", which brings together many industrial innovation pioneers around the world who are leading the wave of the fourth industrial revolution with technology applications.
At present, 172 leading production plants and value chains around the world have joined it, showing how factories can apply cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing and big data analysis to significantly improve production efficiency, enhance
competitiveness, and promote large-scale business model changes. Schneider Electric's Wuxi factory in China, Le Vaudreuil factory in France, Batam factory in Indonesia, Lexington factory in the United States, Hyderabad factory in India, Monterrey Factory 1 in Mexico and Shanghai Putuo factory in China are all among them.
Shanghai Schneider Industrial Control Co., Ltd. focuses on the production of key electrical equipment such as contactors and thermal overload relays. With the booming new energy market, the Shanghai Putuo factory has seen a surge in orders in the past four years, and its product range has expanded fourfold.

In order to meet this challenge, the Shanghai Putuo factory increased its automation level by 20% and deployed advanced technologies including digital rapid prototyping supported by machine learning, intelligent planning and scheduling, and generative artificial intelligence operations and maintenance, thereby shortening order delivery time by 67% and increasing per capita production efficiency by 82%!

Schneider Electric Monterrey Factory 1 uses advanced digital technologies to significantly improve the flexibility and agility of the supply chain to cope with increasingly complex product demands. The factory has introduced automated robots and drone technology to improve material handling efficiency, while building and energy management systems have helped save about 30% of energy and water resources.
In addition, the Monterrey plant has also acquired cutting-edge technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as using machine learning to forecast demand and using deep learning technology to improve quality inspection results. This has enabled the Monterrey Plant 1 to achieve an annual growth rate of 24% in the past three years, reduce manufacturing costs by 16%, reduce product defects by 20%, and shorten delivery time by 49%!
