What is the reason for laser cutting encountering nozzle overheating
When operating a fiber laser cutting machine, people often wonder why the cross-section is smooth at the beginning of cutting, but over time, the cross-section effect becomes worse. Why is this?
Long term cutting can easily cause overheating of the cutting nozzle, resulting in abnormal capacitance values and nozzle deformation, leading to unstable cutting, such as good cutting at the beginning but incomplete cutting later, different left and right cross-sections, etc.
What is the reason for laser cutting encountering nozzle overheating? Firstly, we need to know why the nozzle heats up. There are generally three reasons for nozzle overheating.
1.The laser is not output at the center of the nozzle
The deviation of the light beam during the cutting process
Need to switch back to coaxial
2.Replace the lens
During the cutting process, the lens becomes contaminated and accumulates heat, which is then transferred to the nozzle
Causing the nozzle to heat up and become hot

3.Improper installation of nozzle
Before installation, check that the nozzle is not deformed or damaged
Tighten the nozzle to prevent tilting
In short, nozzle heating is a common problem in laser cutting machines that needs to be detected and resolved in a timely manner.
