What is a machine tool structure?

Different machine tool have different design and structure, now there’s an example of fiber laser cutting machine.

A cutting head of fiber laser cutter has 13 parts, the components are as following:

1.Metal sheet 2.Cutting nozzle 3.Auxiliary gas intake pipe 4.Pressure gauge of auxiliary gas 5.Water cooling for lens 6.Focus lens 7.Laser beam 8.Water cooling for reflector 9.Reflector 10.Servo motor 11.Ball screw 12. Amplification control and drive motor 13.Position sensor.

Each of those components has different function, like cutting nozzle could control the light output, while the water cooling device is used to keep a normal condition of cutting head, and the focus lens is designed to strengthen the quality of laser beam.

All of the components need to be combined together, and they compose the whole structure of cutting head. In addition, a cutting head has many wearing parts, which need to be maintained regularly so as to keep great running.
